Our Origin
We started in Kolkata in the mid 80s and then shifted our base to Pune-Mumbai in the mid 90s.
In 2008, we partnered with a local self-help group in Nagaland and formed a non-governmental organization (NGO) to revive the art of traditional loin loom weaving. By 2014, we started an international festival in the project village in Nagaland, India. These festivals brought in friends and relatives curious to explore more of the country, and thus we created our first few itineraries between 2014 and early 2020, which were much appreciated.
Post COVID some of our friends requested us to create an international itinerary. We had an experimental curtain raiser trip to Bali Indonesia. The success of the Bali Sojourn encouraged us to form a new vertical dedicated to TRAVEL and FOOD. Thus was born Celebration Travel & Food.
